Abstract

The international commerce of ASEAN inter-states in the future yielded by contribution of UKM (SME’s) can not be looked from one side, because UKM is expected to replace of corporations. The number of UKM business units in 2003 is 42,4 million rising of 9,5 % compared with that in 2000. At present the contribution the GNP growth of UKM is higher than that of corporates. In 2000 out of 4,9 % growth of total national GNP, 2,8 % came from UKM. In 2003 out of 4,1 % growth of total national GNP, 2,4 % was from UKM. Considering the significant role of UKM, they have to be integrated in national economy potencials. By giving amenities to banking capital access, training for uplifting skills, leadership and management it is expected that UKM will be able to survive and have competitive power.
